Research Chemist

Thanks to the connections and support I received at Sacred Heart University, I was able to get my first "real" job as an industry chemist for a small company in southern Connecticut in 2011. This experience was wonderful; the company and people were top notch, and I gained valuable experience as to what it means to be a Research Scientist. My job was to focus on researching more effective methods for production/products, working closely with upper-management, sales, and engineering teams. Although I enjoyed it, I left after about 5 years; I felt as though my work was not as fulfilling as I was hoping for.
